Took a little road trip to Milton to photograph James and Nicole’s engagement shoot. We were hoping for a snowy day and we missed the big snow storm we had by one week. However, we were just happy to see snow on the ground as these two love the winter. We took the photos at Crawford Lake Conservation Area and hiked around the grounds there which were absolutely beautiful! These two love hiking and being outdoors and this was definitely the perfect spot! It was so close to home for them and yet feels like your up North. Beautiful pine trees, a lake and a whindy boardwalk.
These two couldn’t stop giggling and smiling at each other. Didn’t have to direct them much which made my job easy. They brought along their dog Lily who was full of energy and did so well when the spotlight was on her. We even had Nicoles sister Caitlin (which fun fact is a friend of mine) tag along with us as the dog rangler and it was great having her along for someone else to get them laughing. She even brought her dog for company for Lily. The dogs were extra helpful making James and Nicole laugh with the noises they made while they we’re watching.
Overall is was such a fun morning and was nice to get outdoors and go for a mini hike while taking photos. James and Nicole are such a sweet couple and I’m getting even more excited for their wedding in Niagara on the Lake this coming fall. I have no doubt in my mind we will have just as much fun on their wedding day as we did during their engagement shoot. Another road trip is ahead! Can’t wait ☺️
