Can’t get over how adorable these two are! Had a lovely time photographing Matt and Mandy’s wedding day on June 1st. Ended up learning that this day was quite special as Mandy’s parents also got married on the first Saturday of June. However it down poured on their wedding day and although the weather forecast was calling for the same it held off until the reception for us. We even had some beautiful sun and blue skies in the morning.
Matt and Mandy had a first look in Waterloo Park within the gardens and the gazebo there. It was the perfect setting as Matt proposed to Mandy in a gazebo so it was definitely fitting. We then ventured around the park and then headed to the CIGI and Perimeter Institute for a more modern look which I loved the variety of looks.
It wasn’t very hard to get an adorable photo of Matt and Mandy together. They just bring out the spark in each others smiles when they look into each others eyes. We did have some hilarious moments too which really got them laughing and enjoying themselves.
After a busy morning of photos we headed off for a quick lunch break and then straight to the church to get them married. With a full house surrounded by so many friends and family Mandy had planned to sing to Matt as she walked down the aisle. It was to the song that was playing during their proposal. She did an amazing job and Matt was just grinning from ear to ear. Such a unique and special surprise.
Their reception hall was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious as always by Grace Frey. Speeches were lovely and entertaining. Overall it was a beautiful day and wish nothing but the best for Matt and Mandy on their new life together. Congrats
