Had such a beautiful September day for Alex & Hailey’s wedding! They had their ceremony and reception at Three Bridges Banquet Hall which was such a great setting for their happy medium between a country and city wedding. The ceremony was very family oriented with them surprising their mothers by giving them a white rose at the beginning and then the parents presenting a letter and bottle of wine to be locked away in their wine box which they later will open on an anniversary. Very sweet ideas.
Hailey did a lot of DYI for her decorations and they turned out lovely! During the Father Daughter and the Mother Son dances, they welcomed other father/daughters and mother/sons to come up and dance with them which was a unique and special. Complete Music did a fantastic job of providing all the music for the day and getting the party started.
We took photos at a local apple orchard and along the Millrace Trail in St Jacobs. Their wedding party was a blast and made it a lot of fun. Alex & Hailey were really sweet with one another and looked stunning. The wind that day even made for some gorgeous veil shots. Hailey also seemed to attract a lot of wild life as we came across a praying mantis up the skirt of her dress and a snake along the path.. So every time she would get excited I would be like “oh no what is it this time!”
I was such an honour to have captured their day. I have enjoyed our time together and being apart of the process in preparing for the day. Wishing them nothing but the best in their new life together! Cheers
