Finished off the crazy 2020 wedding season with James and Nicole’s wedding which was absolutely lovely! With these two having to change their plans multiple times due to Covid, they pulled off such a beautiful, intimate wedding with immediate family and their wedding party.
James’s parents had opened up their home to host the wedding and it was the perfect setting. A clear tent with twinkly lights, beautiful floral centrepieces along with more lights outside under a pergola lighting the dance floor and a beautiful stone fireplace as the centre piece for the ceremony. The ceremony was short and sweet and was officiated by Nicole’s grand dad which was very special. Their dog Lily even made an appearance and you could just tell she wanted to run up and jump on them with excitement during the ceremony. But she did very well and stayed put as she watched her humans get married.
In the neighbourhood were these private trails that we used for their first look and couple photos and the trees were full of colour. It was so beautiful that we just stayed in one area the whole time and didn’t need to walk far. Every which way you looked was gorgeous.
Nicole looked stunning in her long satin gown, cathedral vail and gorgeous hair piece and James also looked very dapper. The two of them together were so adorable and they kept giving each other these looks that you could just tell that they are so happy and in love.
The evening was filled with delicious food, homemade desserts (by Nicole), beautiful speeches, lots of laughter, tears and dancing. I cannot thank James and Nicole for having me be along for this journey and for allowing me to capture their special day. With everything that life was throwing at them they were able to find their way through it all and have such a magical, memorable wedding. Their love for each other is all that mattered and were just happy to be getting married. Congrats again! Wishing you nothing but the best in your new life together.
