Ever since Tara was a little girl she knew one day she would have wedding photos taken with her horses. Although logistics didn’t allow us to do this on the day of, we had planned to make it happen after the wedding. Grant and Tara got all dressed up again and had the same flower bouquet and boutineer from Wedding Flowers by Ann Martin. We had a beautiful evening around golden hour to capture these very important photos and they turned out stunning! Both their engagement shoot and wedding photos were freezing cold days so it was nice to have warm weather for a change. The main subjects Rocky and Bamb did fantastic and we managed to keep the dress relatively clean. They did try to nibble at the flowers and the veil a bit but it made for some humorous moments. There is something about doing wedding photos after the day, you are more relaxed, can pick a day when the weather is nice, photograph at any location, reminisce on the day and get to get all dressed up again… I don’t see why people don’t do this more often 😊 It was a fun road trip and will be back again I’m sure for more shoots and to do some riding. Perks of having a sister in-law with horses 😉
